P42 folding Navigation equipment

This customer required all the Navigational equipment on his arch to be folded flat to go under bridges on the Thames.  We removed all the equipment and had a stainless extension plate fitted to radar stand to sit over the lip of the arch.  Thus enabling the radar to lay lower than the arch.  We then fitted pad eyes to the arch for retaining cables to fit to, so the radar would not be resting on the aft rail on the flybridge.

The stainless arch was hinged using two hinge plates, this enabled the arch to lay completely flat instead of having to add extensions to the forward lip of the main arch.

All the securing fixings are hoop bolts so they can be released quickly.  We are very pleased with how the installation went.

Landau Opening party

The Landau UK office warming party was held last week.  Lots of fun was had by all.

We had radio controlled car races, radio controlled helicopters and planes.  As you can see really grown up stuff.  A few nasty crashes and planes run over too.  We even had a human ramp which was hilarious, Dan from Casse Tete laid down after the ramp to see if people could jump over him, problem was everyone just tried to jump on him instead.  A big thankyou to all that attended.
